LGV C+E Crane Operator for Ibstock Brick

Well, this is possibly the job for you! We are currently recruiting Class 1 drivers to join our driving team parking in Leicestershire (Bardon & Coalville) working for our new Ibstock Brick contract. nights out will be required depending on your work load.

You will be working Monday to Friday. We are offering an hourly rate of £16.26, plus night out allowances. You’ll also have access to a workplace pension, ongoing training & support, and a variety of high street discounts.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• You will be safely driving our brand-new HGV Class 1 Vehicles in a courteous and professional manner
• Complete mechanical offloads delivering brick products on artic crane or drawbars with HIAB cranes.
• Making sure all goods are correctly strapped before commencing journeys
• Delivery sites will include new build housing sites and green areas
• The role will involve some nights out

What you need to succeed at XPO:

• Valid LGV C+E Licence
• Ideally you will possess a ALLMI brick grab accreditation, but training will be provided
• An up-to-date DCPC and DIGI card
• Flexibility and ability to use your own initiative
• No more than 6 points on your driving licence
• No DD, DR or IN endorsements showing on your licence
