Cupertino, CA – August 18, 2022 Haul, a digital employment platform for CDL truck drivers that connects trucking companies with drivers, is taking an additional step in tackling the national driver shortage by reinventing the job search process for 3.5 million commercial drivers. Haul has taken the antiquated, paper-heavy application process and repackaged it into a rich, mobile-first experience. For the first time, drivers can complete their FMCSA & DOT mandated application in less than 10 minutes saving them time and effort when searching for a new job in trucking.

“We looked outside of the trucking industry for inspiration on how to make a traditionally overwhelming application as intuitive as possible. Our new onboarding flow finally pulls the search for drivers into the 21st century.,” said Toan Nguyen Le, Haul’s Co-founder, and Chief Technology Officer.

Getting started with Haul and starting your job search is now easier than ever. Drivers download the Haul Driver app through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, insert their phone number, and are guided, step by step through the application process. With a few quick clicks, drivers can upload their credentials, sign documents, and set their job preferences.

To minimize a driver’s downtime between jobs, the Haul app saves each driver’s credentialing and application information on the company’s secured and encrypted private cloud infrastructure, making future applications as easy and fast as one, single click.

“The refined credentialing experience coupled with our signature mobile-first application is another huge leap towards helping fleets navigate the driver shortage and provide them a recruiting platform that allows them to reach the modern driver. It’s exciting to help drivers across the country get and keep jobs in pursuit of stabilizing our national supply chain.,” said Timothy-James Henry, Haul CEO, and Co-founder.
